  Comrades Marathon Runners Raise Over R160,000 for Kids with Cancer Photo Cred: Rainbows and Smiles Nineteen dedicated runners in the Comrades Marathon have raised over R160,000 for Rainbows and Smiles, a charity supporting children with cancer… but they still need our help!   In a heartwarming display of solidarity and determination, 19 dedicated runners have raised an incredible R160,000 for Rainbows and Smiles, which supports children with cancer. These inspirational individuals are set to participate in the  97th Comrades Marathon  today, an ultramarathon renowned as the world’s largest and oldest. Over 20,000 runners will tackle the 88-kilometre course between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, and 19 of them are not only pushing their physical limits but also rallying for a cause close to their hearts.
